Five separate reviewers describe an unfinished one turned into living space — a rec room, a home gym, a full bathroom — and kitchen remodels run a close second. The company works out of Bolton across MetroWest, describes itself on its site as family owned with a team that has been in homebuilding for over 20 years, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #207205, is active. Across 35 Google ratings averaging 4.9, the detail customers keep returning to is the phone. A May 2026 homeowner had the work finished sooner than hoped; another that same month called Dave responsive, helpful and thorough, and said he has become their first call. In March 2026, a customer who has used him for both inside and outside projects said he assesses, quotes and gets started quickly. The range runs wider than remodels. In September 2025 a homeowner described the crew replacing insect-damaged structural support beams in one corner of the house; in August 2025 another had a lot of rotted exterior trim repaired, fast and at what they called a reasonable price. A January 2025 review covers old carpet pulled up for hardwood and ceiling damage from ice dams and leaks; a January 2024 one describes a farmer's porch turned into a bedroom in two weeks. Writing in March 2025, one customer said Dave had worked on their house over 20 years, from a large-scale addition down to bathroom cabinet installs. The exception is loud, and it is the thing to ask about. A June 2023 Google review gives one star: all the windows installed incorrectly and leaking, a door fitted without all its screws and leaking too, calls unanswered, and a job that started fast then slowed. On BuildZoom, whose 3.0 rating comes from two sharply split accounts, the same divide shows: one describing poor craftsmanship with leaking windows and doors and no communication, the other a February 2025 account of a pool cabana project where the crew showed up on time, worked clean and completed the original scope. For a finished basement, a kitchen or bathroom gut, a deck or an addition around Bolton and MetroWest, this is a serious candidate, and several customers have come back for project after project over years. Before signing, pin down who installs windows and doors on your job, and get the punch list and the callback process in writing.
