Dean C Ramsdell Landscaping describes itself on its website as a full-service company that handles a project from initial design through installation and a long-term maintenance plan. The company says it has been in business 35 years and names York and Cumberland as its service area. A 2025 reviewer in Wells Beach wrote that the owner, Mr. Dean Ramsdell, came to the property to help with decisions on the property and landscape designs. The same reviewer said that on returning from Florida, the grass was cut without a call because they were on the company's list for cutting grass. A 2022 customer said Ramsdell helped plan a landscaping project, pick out the plants, and did the hardscape and plantings, and that everything was as promised. A 2023 reviewer wrote that Ramsdell did a spring clean up at Anchor Fence, where it has handled all the maintenance work for years. A 2024 reviewer called the service efficient and priced perfect. A 2023 reviewer wrote that the guy on the mower covered their car in sand and grass clippings and was dismissive when they talked to him.
Had a horrible experience with another landscaper in Wells, Maine company -- these folks on the other hand are awesome!
While typing it only let me do one star. That is DEFINITELY not correct. I have had this landscaping company for years and never had a problem. I would rate this company with the 5 Stars. When I call on the phone they are very helpful and they will listen to you. Actually the owner of the company Mr. Dean Ramsdell has come down to my property here in Wells Beach to help me make decisions on my property and landscape designs. They are GREAT. Going to call the company today because I need to have the bushes trimmed or cut back. They will give me advise and we will make a decision as to what we might do with the front of the house. I love flowering bushes and plants Diane Kaminski A loyal customer. PS; By the way I just got back from Florida as we are snow birds. I didn’t even have to call as I was on the list that they have for cutting grass. Hows that for Great Service. Thank you Dean and Office Staff and the gentleman that cut the grass today. Looking forward to a great summer and working with your company to fit my ideas about design and flowering plants. Sincerely, Diane Kaminski 19 Trafton St. Wells Maine.
Efficient, understanding of homeowners needs, and priced perfect.
Covered my car today in sand and grass clippings. My car was clean, now it is not. I talked to the guy on the mower that did it, and he was dismissive, as he has no value of other people's property.
We have been using Ramsdell Landscaping for all our maintenance work at Anchor Fence for years. Again, they have done their magic with our spring clean up and made the yard look inviting again. Kudos to you your crews for another job well done!
