Dean Wallace Swimming Pool Contractor

Dean Wallace has been around pools since 1976 by his own account, and he still runs the shop himself — BBB lists the Amesbury business as a sole proprietorship with one employee. The company says it has sold, installed and serviced pools since 1985, covering Amesbury and Salisbury and reaching into southern New Hampshire. The work is the full seasonal round: openings and closings, cleaning, covers, liner replacement, and residential and commercial installations, with free estimates offered. BBB grades the business A+. Two things to raise on the first call. On Yellowbot the company carries a single 2-star rating. And its dates don't line up — the website puts the business at 1985 with the owner in the trade since 1976, while BBB's record dates the sole proprietorship to 1995. For a straightforward opening, closing or liner swap around the Amesbury–Salisbury line, a one-man shop is often exactly what you want: the person quoting is the person doing the job. Get the price in writing, ask how soon he can get to you in the spring rush, and confirm insurance before any dig or install.
