Demir Sen

Demir Sen is a solo electrician based in Methuen who works statewide, and BuildZoom's permit history over 87 projects shows the bulk of that work is residential rooftop solar plus service jobs like sub-panels, EV chargers, recessed lighting and heat-pump wiring, in towns from Newburyport to Newton, Weston to Wareham. The written record is thin but consistent. In a pair of reviews from September 2020, two homeowners described recessed-lighting and solar-panel work as quick and reasonably priced, and singled out how thoroughly he cleaned up and tested everything before calling a job done. There's no newer customer feedback on file, but permit filings show 18 of the 87 projects landed in the past three years, so the work has kept coming. Licensing is worth asking about directly before booking. BuildZoom's own records disagree with each other: one shows electrician license #22897 verified active as of April 2026, while a duplicated Newton contractor registration under the same number is marked unverified and expired since July 2022 — and a separate, older BuildZoom entry claims no license is even required to work as an electrician in Massachusetts, which the site's own verified record contradicts. Solar installs and everyday electrical service work — panel upgrades, EV chargers, lighting — look to be the strength here, backed by a broad permit history even where written reviews are sparse.
