We did a major remodel on a 81 year old cottage while living on the west coast. This team was fantastic! Jim and Jill are so easy to do business with. They were calm, patient and tolerant of changes mid stream in the project. Jim had great ideas and recommendations. Jill kept us up to date on new charges and billing. Richard worked with the suppliers and subs. He was timely, attentive to our needs, a wonderful communicator and a true pleasure to work with . Matt was our foreman. He was very open about the execution of the project and went above and beyond with small details. When the patio pavers became available, Brad spent his Saturday and completed the patio himself in 12 hours time. We could not believe it! Jaclyn and Hussain, in the office, were super courteous and responsive. Despite being on the west coast when all the work was being done this project was carried out seamlessly! Highly recommend!

We added an addition and garage onto our Cape house and had a tight budget to do so. Jim Deslandes was recommended by our architect, so we called him for one of 3 bids. We were concerned that we would be too "high end" for us and worried that a job like ours would not command his attention. We were so wrong. He was fabulous. Direct, honest, reliable and easy to work with. His crew was dedicated to our job from start to finish, so the timeline kept very much to the estimated schedule. The crew was easy to have at the house and worked very hard to keep the intrusion to a minimum. We went over budget a bit, but we knew that we were making some choices that would increase the estimate. Jim was very direct, saying he rarely would win a job on price. He was not the low bid, but he was not the high bid either, but his work quality and customer service orientation made Deslandes the clear choice. We have been happy ever since, and we are again embarking on a small renovation of a bathroom and chose to work with him again.
