Details Home Improvement LLC is the business homeowners hire when siding or trim has gone soft and nobody knows yet how far the water got. Customers know it by Tassio, who is named in its reviews, and it holds an active Connecticut home improvement registration, HIC.0648303, in the name Details Home Improvement LLC. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 stars from 77 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+.
The repair stories run in the same direction. In a September 2026 review, a homeowner of 43 years said Tassio replaced multiple sheets of cedar siding, repaired the plywood underneath with flashing tape, Tyvek and galvanized fasteners, and painted indoor walls damaged by earlier leaks. In a 2022 review, a homeowner hired him for warped siding; once it came off, the plywood was rotten and the insulation moldy, and he sent pictures of the walls and offered options without pressure. A 2023 reviewer said he rebuilt the exterior siding and trim of a 21-year-old home.
The work goes past siding. Reviews from 2021 to 2024 describe a screen porch repair, a new deck, door repairs and installs, pressure washing, a garage door fix, a gutter downspout issue, and hanging a dry erase board in an office. Several customers mention clean work areas at the end of each day and clear explanations of what needed doing.
Two reviews raised cost. In a 2021 review, a homeowner had seven tiles replaced and the grout redone in a half bathroom, praised the work, and called $1,500 for about eight hours too high. Another 2021 reviewer said the cost of additional work on a large water-damage repair was more than budgeted and caught them off guard, though the workmanship was excellent.
