A sinkhole by the pool, a burst outdoor pipe, and a backyard that needed rebuilding: that is the kind of job di Stefano Landscaping gets hired for. The company says it has been in business for 22 years, and sevendaysvt.com lists it as its best landscaping company. A recent customer said the company filled the sinkhole, remade the patio, fixed a retaining wall within budget, and reseeded the lawn after the machines had torn it up. A recent reviewer wrote that the di Stefano crew cleaned out ditches, replaced culverts, put in stone walkways and planted new trees. A recent customer had the company design and build a stone stair and patio with a stone retaining wall for a new hot tub, and said it coordinated with other contractors, especially electrical. A recent customer said a large project added underground drainage plus new lawn and garden areas, done on time. A 2025 customer said the company moved a 15-year established tree and several shrubs on a tight schedule and small budget, and that Chad gave instructions for caring for the transplants. A 2025 reviewer said the company might be a bit more expensive than some other landscaping companies and called it worth it. A 2026 reviewer wrote that the plow did not clear their driveway, a car backed into a pile of hard snow, the repair cost $1,600, and the promised call back never came. A 2022 customer who said they spent more than $50K wrote that, after agreeing on how to finish the project, neither the owner Chris nor project manager Drew called back for a year.
“We received a quote last year from DiStefano to do some work rehabbing our driveway/yard area and while their design was beautiful, it was abundantly clear that they weren't a great fit for what we need.”

The di Stefano crew came to my house and did exceptional work on my property from cleaning out ditches and replacing culverts and putting in stone walkways in my gardens to planting new trees! I was beyond pleased with Parker‘s expertise was such big machines! I would highly recommend hiring di Stefano to do any of your landscaping projects
We are so pleased with the work Di Stefano provided. We had an outdoor pipe burst and the water eroded a massive sinkhole in our backyard by our pool. Not only did they fill the hole, but they completely remade our patio and fixed a retaining wall all within our budget! Mack was incredible to work with- he surpassed all of our expectations with his creative ideas, frequent communication and updates, and going out of his way to make us satisfied. Parker was an amazing foreman and worked so hard in the hot sun-sometimes for 12 hours a day! He always stopped what he was doing to fill us in on how the project was progressing. It is obvious how passionate and thoughtful he is with his work and design. Josh was also great! Everyone cleaned up the area after every day's work and they made sure to reseed the lawn after the machines had torn it up; you would never know it was disturbed at all with how great the grass looks now! We will absolutely use Di Stefano for future projects and recommend them to our family and friends. We love our new and improved backyard, thank you!
We used di Stefano to design and build new plant beds and landscaping for our property. They brought experts for each step of the project and were truly great to work with. We spent the most time with the team that made the vision come together. The team was led by Nolan and they were truly passionate about what they do and the end product looks amazing already. We can’t wait to see the plants mature and fill in over the next few growing seasons to truly see the potential of the project. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants a beautiful yard.
Di Stefano did a large landscaping project for us which including adding underground drainage systems, plus new lawn and garden areas. The work was done well, on time, and the crew was fantastic to work with. They were always happy to take the time to discuss our ideas and answers our questions.
