Dimecos Nursery and Landscape

DiMeco's Nursery and Landscape has been a Lancaster fixture since 1987, when Dale DiMeco started it before incorporating and renaming it in 1998. The family-owned shop covers garden, floral, gift, lawn, landscape, irrigation, and hardscape work, and Dale himself reports holding a Certified Irrigation Installer credential through the Irrigation Association of Massachusetts and a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's license. Most of what people write about is the nursery and floral side — friendly staff, healthy plants, and deliveries that show up reliably. In a 2023 review, a customer living in Ohio described DiMeco's cheerfully creating and delivering grave decorations for their family each Memorial Day and Christmas; in a 2025 review, another described flowers for a wedding that were set up well before the ceremony and matched the color scheme exactly. On the landscape side, a 2023 review describes Dale personally installing a Husqvarna robotic mower in a complicated yard and getting it working flawlessly. Google shows a 4.7-star average from 47 ratings, and the business has also been named as a donor of landscaping for a school memorial bench project. There are two rougher notes worth knowing about. In a 2024 review, a customer said a call for a landscaping estimate — weeding and mulching an overgrown property — didn't go the way they expected. A separate 2024 review described a parking-lot driving incident involving a company truck, unrelated to the nursery's actual work. For plants, gifts, and deliveries, the reviews here are deep and consistently positive; for landscaping and irrigation jobs specifically, there's less to go on, so it's worth asking for references on that side of the business before booking bigger yard work.
