On credentials, BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration numbered 134439, issued 05-04-2026, and a construction supervisor licence numbered CS-076336, and says it checked both as active in July 2026. Those are BuildZoom's own records. Ask for the numbers directly and confirm them with the state; the registration date shown is recent against the three decades the blurb claims. For a deck, a door, a set of stairs or a basement — the work the one review actually describes — this is worth a call. For an addition or a whole-room remodel, ask for addresses of comparable finished projects and for the trades he works with before going further.
