Its website lists service towns from Waterbury and Cheshire to New Haven, Stamford and Hartford. A 2024 customer chose the company for its soft scrubbing technique, roof washing and interior window washing, including a two-story foyer window they could not safely reach. That 2024 customer said Frank and Lisa, the owners, explained the process along the way, and that the house still looked great almost two years later. A 2024 reviewer wrote that Frank and his guys washed the house, fence and patio, cleaning the green off every fence spindle without powerwashing. Roofs are much of the work. A 2022 customer said moss from a roof cleaning had not come back in 2.5 years. A 2023 Angi customer said Gary washed their house, detached garage and both roofs and was done very quickly. In a 2020 review, a customer said the owner walked the entire house for a free estimate and proposed a roof, deck and siding package with a 10% discount. That 2020 customer said the owner also spotted depressions in the wooden trim from wood boring bees, which were siliconed. A 2020 reviewer wrote that the gentleman cleaning the roof with a leaf blower also cleaned their gutters. A 2025 customer said straight bleach dripped from the roof into their plants, and that it was carried in on shoes and ruined their rugs. A 2020 customer saw leftover moss on a shed roof and was told it would be gone within a couple of months. A 2019 customer said the job left stains on a new driveway.
The used straight bleach., it dripped from my roof into all my plants. I carried it in on my shoes and it ruined MY RUGS,!, How can be that reckless?

I don't normally write reviews but when exceptional workmanship is in play, I feel obligated to share my experiences with other potential customers. I did much research (as always) to find the correct washing company for our house. We have had our house professionally power washed in the past. I had chosen Doctor Roof N’ Shine because they fit the bill for their soft scrubbing technique, roof washing, and also window washing on the inside. The interior window washing was needed for a single window. We have a two-story foyer with a large window that I could not safely reach at my age and it had not been cleaned on the inside for quite some time. They handled everything with extreme professionalism and careful attention and courtesy to what we needed done. Frank and Lisa (owners of Doctor Roof N’ Shine) were a pleasure to talk to and explained the process all along the way. It has been almost 2 years to the day since they were here and I’m sorry for not writing this review sooner, but the house still looks great. In fact, what was a real testament to their workmanship, was when neighbors mentioned out of the blue “Did you did something new to your house, it looks great”. I said nope – just had it professionally cleaned. Thanks again, Frank and Lisa, we will definitely use you again.
By far the best my house has ever looked! Just had Frank and his guys come out to wash my house, fence and patio. All of the green is gone, house looks brand new, fence is completely cleaned including all the spindles that were completely green!! And all done without powerwashing. Very impressed and would highly recommend
My wife and I are very pleased with Dr. Roof & Shine, Price was great, service was outstanding. Gary (washing professional) was very pleasant and easy to work with.
