Ask about Drain & Heating Solutions and one job comes up again and again: a drain that stopped draining. It works out of 5 Sullivan St in Burlington, and its BBB file describes a sole proprietorship with a single employee, with Eddie Cajina as the contact — drain and sewer cleaning, with heating listed alongside it on HomeAdvisor. The praise from people who hired him is specific, and it repeats. A customer writing in November 2017 described a drain that fought back until he kept at it and it "worked perfectly" — no hidden charges, no attempt to jack up the cost, everything cleaned up at the end. Another that October said he looked at an old kitchen drain line, warned the snake might crack it wide open, and agreed to try anyway with no guarantees on his part. On HomeAdvisor the aggregate sits at 4.8 out of 5 across 255 ratings, 86% of them five-star. What happened when a job went sideways is the harder part. In April 2018 a homeowner rated the work one star, saying the company did extensive damage to their floors and ceilings. That August, a second customer gave two stars over a promised refund check that never came, with an email and a phone call left unanswered. A third, in November 2017, wrote that the drain ran fine afterward but she spent the entire next day cleaning the ceiling and walls. The BBB grades the business B- and states the reason plainly: it did not respond to a complaint filed against it, and one complaint sits on file. Age matters here too. Every written account runs between October 2017 and August 2019, and HomeAdvisor's page now carries a "this pro is under review" banner. The two sources also tell slightly different stories about tenure — HomeAdvisor says 18 years of experience, while the BBB file gives a start date of June 2010. For a clogged tub or kitchen drain, where you want the owner himself showing up and talking you through what he found, the older reviews make a reasonable case. Before booking, confirm the shop is still taking work, get the scope and the price in writing, and ask directly how damage during the job would be handled — that is the one thread the complaints share.
Excellent! He examined the work, he's professional, on time, he was late by traffic but he called me and let me know, he's friendly, he gave me an estimate and try to figure out how he could save me money. He went out of his way because he don't normally do my area, he mostly do business. He cleaned up after himself. He tested his work after completing it by running the hot and cold water over and over to make sure that his work was complete.
Eddie, the plumber from Drain & Heating Solutions is not able to complete this particular service due to some reasons. He instead ended up doing a work on my toilet which apparently caused more damage. He promised instead to send me a check for the refund of my deal. I sent an e-mail last week, 08/22/2018, not gotten any response, and called today. Still no follow up and no correspondence.
He is absolutely great. He was very responsive and supportive..
Came right away. Helpful and friendly.
Eddie is very nice and was able to determine what the problem was. He is very thorough. I will use them again and recommend his service.
