Kyle and his crew were able to solve our severe flooding issues by putting in a drain basin that involved digging through tree roots and around the septic drainage system and septic tank. They were able to assess our existing foundation draining system and quickly fixed problems discovered there as well. We were completely shocked when our basement began flooding every time there was a decent amount of rain.  Three major basement waterproofing companies gave us hours of presentations and brochures and descriptions of the work they would do to solve the problem.  This included destroying the basement floor by jackhammering the entire perimeter and laying down various types of drainage systems with multiple sump pumps. There was no way they could tell if the pumps would be running 24/7, and all of the companies would be charging close to $20,000! We were beside ourselves and felt like something was wrong with all this, so we kept searching for a solution that wouldn’t bankrupt us. By the grace of God, a simple google search for ‘drainage contractors near me’ brought up D. Kyle Stearns Contracting.  I sent a text through his website describing the situation and he responded immediately.  When he arrived at our house, it took Kyle less than 10 minutes to locate and discover that our foundation drains were blocked!  We didn’t even know these drains existed, and none of the other companies even mentioned anything about this as a possible cause for our problem. As Kyle started to clear rocks, dirt and debris from the drain openings, the water started running out like crazy, it was a miracle! Kyle and his company saved us thousands and thousands of dollars and we are so grateful.  Along with him being with extremely knowledgeable and professional, Kyle also has a very kind, peaceful and comforting personality.  We highly recommend contacting him if you or anyone you know has any type of drainage problems.
