Driveway Doctor says it has been in business for 35 years, and its BBB description lists asphalt sealcoating, hot crack repair, hot asphalt repair and line striping. On Google it averages 3.9 stars from 37 ratings. A recent customer said their driveway looks perfect and that the owner was working on the driveway with his crew. A 2022 customer with a very long driveway said it needed a significant amount of crack repair, and that the company rep was responsive to a request to return for cracks missed on the initial service. A 2021 customer said GiGi, who answered the phone, got a crew out to the house the next day. A 2025 customer said a driveway resealed in October 2024 was partly washed away after a rainy day; the company came back and fixed it, but large patches of the seal were coming up four months later, and that customer said later calls and emails were ignored. A recent reviewer said a worker blew dirt and rocks onto their property and vehicle, and that the police were called and wrote him a citation. A 2022 customer said an appointment was made but no one showed up or called. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0643121, as active, held by Driveway Doctor.
This company is very disrespectful. Blowing dirt and rocks into our property. He could blow them into the woods instead blew rocks and dirt all over my vehicle when asked to stop he said it will blow off when you drive away .I told him it was illegal to blow into the road he replied I do this all the time it’s legal. I had to call the police and they informed him it’s illegal and he wrote him a citation.
My driveway looks perfect ,they did a great job ! Crew was a great bunch of hardworking guys Owner was working on the driveway also with his crew .highly recommend them !! 5 star company !
My neighbor had there driveway sealed and WOW what an amazing difference, looks new & the edges really set it off. Decided I need mine done too!
We hired Driveway Doctor to reseal our driveway in October 2024. At this time they assured us as long as the temperature was above freezing it was okay to seal. The job was completed, but then much of it was washed away after a rainy day shortly after. After sending pictures and several phone calls they did come back and fix it. Fast forward 4 months later, and large patches of the seal are already coming up. We do not live at this home FT so the driveway gets very little wear/tear. This should NOT happen after only 4 months. Numerous calls were placed and e-mails sent, all ignored, and then after my husband called we FINALLY got a response saying the crew would come out to check the driveway and then would get back to us. They never made contact with us again after that. We shouldn't have to chase these people down. Poor customer service, would never hire them again. Beware.
