ABC-LERS, LLC describes itself on its Better Business Bureau profile as offering residential and commercial asphalt services, including sealcoating, hot crack repair, line striping, hot asphalt patchwork, curb installation and repair, and catch basins. Its website says it has been offering services since 1996. A recent Google customer said two guys did their driveway, cut grass in existing cracks and cleaned up after the job was done. A recent Google customer who found a quote left in the mailbox said calls and voice messages to schedule the job got no reply, and said the same happened in 2023. A 2023 customer said someone stopped by the house, an estimate arrived within a week, and the company repaired the cracks in the driveway and applied sealant. A 2023 customer said Audra and her team kept them informed and the driveway sealing took maybe 30 minutes. A 2022 customer said the sealed driveway held up after a harsh winter with significant icing. A 2024 customer said they had used the company multiple times for a commercial property in Guilford, CT. A 2024 customer had a driveway resealed in 2022 and said the sealcoat was peeling by summer 2023. That 2024 customer said the company blamed the lack of a bleach cleaning, resealed once for free in June 2023 after the cleaning was done, and the sealant was peeling all over the driveway again by July 2024. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0567679, as active, held by ABC-LERS LLC.

I called for a quote, they came out and left the quote in my mailbox on 8/11. On 8/17 I called to schedule the job. No one answered so I left a voice message-no reply. I called back later that day but when no one answered I just hung up. I called again the next day, left a voice message- no reply. I don't understand why a company would ignore a paying customer. I had this same experience with them back in 2023, called, left a voice message-no reply. I can't recommend them based on my experience or lack of.
I have used this company multiple times for my commercial property in Guilford, CT. They do phenomenal work and even better people. Excellent.
Poor quality work - 2 coats in 2 years, peeling all over. We had our driveway resealed in August of 2022, and chose this company because their signs were elsewhere in the neighborhood and the work looked good. Fast-forward to summer 2023, the sealcoat was peeling away in multiple areas. I contacted the company and they said it was our fault for not having the driveway bleach-cleaned first in 2022 (which was not mentioned prior to booking the service!) but said they would re-seal once for free as a courtesy, if we had the bleach cleaning done. We did that and the driveway was resealed in June 2023. Had the quality held up on the second round, I'd have been pleased that they stepped up. Unfortunately, it's July 2024, and the photos show the result. The sealant is peeling away all over the driveway, in both sun and shade areas. Bad enough that it happened with 1 coat, but with 2 coats in 2 years, with a bleach cleaning in the middle, and still peeling? Definitely not using this company again. Edit 7/18/24: since the business owner chose to respond, please note again above that this happened again after the bleach power wash we were instructed by them to have performed. The peeling is happening everywhere on the driveway, including in areas of full sun with 0 moss. If a business uses a product that can't even hold up a single calendar year, expect the resulting impact to your reputation.
