Duane Rego

Generators, panels and the odd mini-split — those are the jobs customers describe for Duane Rego, a Dighton electrical outfit. In a May 2020 review, a customer said Duane installed their generator, explained the process thoroughly and did exactly what he said he would; a January 2020 customer had a Generac whole-house generator put in. An August 2018 Thumbtack customer said he upgraded their electric panel, re-grounded it and wired a new ductless mini-split. Pricing drew praise in 2020 and 2021. A June 2020 customer said Duane was backed up with work but fit their small job in, and lowered the quote because the job took less time than he expected. A February 2021 reviewer said he kept within his proposed quote. By 2025, Thumbtack customers were naming other technicians and describing plumbing and heating work: in February 2025, Caesar found a drain leak after new vanities that an earlier plumber could not trace, and Chris quoted a new boiler for another customer. A September 2025 customer said the fix was a little pricier than they had expected. In October 2023, a customer said Jacob B. drained and cleaned two mini-splits that had developed a bad smell. A January 2020 HomeAdvisor reviewer, who gave half a star, described a panel job at a rental that ran from September to January, with long stretches when Duane did not show up. They said the meter was moved to the front of the house against their request, the main cable was not enclosed in PVC as the contract specified, holes were left in the finished basement ceiling, apartment circuits ended up in the wrong panels, and calls, texts and emails went unanswered afterward.
