When a tornado dropped trees on the power lines outside one family's home — with kids inside and no electricity — Jeremy from AMCO Electric and Energy showed up in under an hour and got everything reconnected, after the homeowner said everyone else in the area was unreachable. That kind of response defines what customers say about this Dighton, Massachusetts electrical contractor. AMCO is locally owned and run by Jeremy America, and its Massachusetts electrician license is active with the state. Emergencies keep coming up: one customer needed a septic pump wired in immediately and had Jeremy out the next day at a reasonable price; another lost power to lights and outlets and had it fixed within a few hours. Beyond urgent calls, the team installs Generac generators as an authorized dealer, rewires whole houses after a move, hangs chandeliers and pendant lighting, and has handled larger remodel and multi-family jobs, taking care of the permits and paperwork along the way. Reviewers repeatedly mention Matt working alongside Jeremy, clear communication about what to expect, and same-day or next-day scheduling even for non-emergencies. The company's own site lists heat pumps and new construction work alongside its core electrical services. Google shows a perfect 5-star average across 27 ratings, and every one of the 27 written reviews on file, running from 2023 through this year, is five stars. For an electrical emergency, a generator install, or full-house rewiring in the South Shore or Taunton area, AMCO is a strong call — the same-day responsiveness and steady presence of Jeremy and Matt come up in review after review; for a larger remodel or new-construction project, ask upfront how the additional trades like heat pumps get coordinated alongside the electrical work.
Jeremy's boys did a fantastic job. It ended up being a bigger job and they were clean efficient and so nice in helping to make final decisions. I will use them as my #1 go to electrician. Highly recommend
Great experience on remodel with Amco Team was always on time and communicated everything to expect clearly. Way above and beyond expectations, highly recommended!
Jeremy did a great job! He came to our rescue when all our lights and some of our outlets weren’t working. He was in and out within a few hours and answered all the questions I had, I highly recommend him and his team!
Can’t say enough good things about AMCO. I had an emergency with our septic pump and needed the new pump wired in asap. Jeremy was out the next day and got it all done efficiently for a very reasonable price. He was respectful and professional and I will be definitely be hiring him back for more projects in the future.
Jeremy was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail. I would recommend him to anyone I come across that needs a reliable electrician. Thank you Jeremy!!!
