James stepped up in a pinch. We had worked with him before but we needed this project done soon and done well. He delivered plus. His workspace was spotless, he worked long hours to meet deadlines, and his finish work is outstanding. He added several “little things” during the job and we never had to ask twice. He showed up. Worked hard. Finished on time. We highly recommend him for any project. We will be using him again!
James is meticulous, skilled and knowledgeable, reliable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. His guidance on improvements and enhancements was thoughtful and genuinely added value. He exceeded expectations, communicated clearly, and delivered with accuracy and integrity. Absolutely worth every dime. Already planning the next project with him.
James came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Working from a Kate Aiello design, he crafted the most magnificent piece of cabinetry to fill an awkward wall. Wet bar with tile and quartz counter, walnut cabinets , lighting and shelving in a MCM Scandi style that suits my aesthetic and vibe. James is a master craftsman and artisan, who takes his craft and business dealings to heart. Honest, earnest and communicative, he tended to details to ensure I was delighted in the end. And I was! More photos to follow once “styling” is done, but here is an early look see.
I had a great experience working with James. I found him online and hired him to make a closet opening larger in my home and couldn’t be happier with the result. He was professional, punctual, and clearly very skilled at his craft. James took the time to explain what needed to be done, worked efficiently, and left the area clean when he was finished. The quality of his work was excellent, and the finished opening looks seamless, like it was always meant to be that way. I would absolutely recommend James to anyone looking for a reliable, detail-oriented carpenter!
I will be hiring James from here on out for any carpentry work in our home. He completed two projects for us: a beadboard coat-hanging wall and a “built-in” bookcase off our kitchen. From the very first interaction, James was kind, professional, and easy to communicate with. He has excellent taste and a great eye for detail, ensuring each project blends seamlessly into the house as if it has always been there. James goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the final result, and he also holds himself to very high standards, which is hard to find these days in someone doing home projects. He is friendly, accountable, transparent, and meticulous about his craft. Usually when people come to work on your house, you cannot wait for them to leave. My husband and I will actually miss having James around because he is such a genuine person, enjoyable to be around, and he made our home look incredible with just two projects. He takes time to explain everything, welcomes input, and genuinely wants you to love the outcome. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting quality, custom work done with care, attention to detail, and genuine pride in the finished product.
