Two dogs that had spent a year digging under a brand-new metal fence were stopping at the flags the same day E-Fence Pros installed an underground fence, an August 2025 Google reviewer wrote. The Connecticut dog-fence installer is Chris Given, who the company says has been training animals to underground pet systems in the state for over 15 years, and it holds 4.9 stars from 76 ratings on Google. Chris installs and trains. In a June 2025 review, a customer who had been considering a GPS collar went with an underground fence on his advice and said the dog was fully trained within a week. Another June 2025 customer with two 19-month-old littermate Boxers had the front yard added on his suggestion and said he taught them to take control of the dogs. An April 2026 customer had an existing fence expanded the same day for a new dog and said he didn't try to sell unneeded equipment. Repairs come up too: in September 2026, after a self-inflicted line break, Chris came out within 3 hours. The complaints are about follow-up training. In a 1-star August 2024 Google review, a customer said emails asking for the training promised in the warranty year went unanswered and asked for a refund on a system they still could not use. A June 2022 review reads "Came twice and did not train the dog." Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.6 stars from 51 ratings.
After four years of flawless performance, we had a break in the line which was self inflicted. I texted Chris and he came out within 3 hours. Resolved the issue very quickly. Thanks
Chris has been amazing to work with! He helped me train my dog on both the e fence and the mini-educator. With his help I was able to correct some problem behaviors quickly, effectively, and durably. He immediately connected with my dog, putting both of us at ease. Thank you Chris!!
I called E-Fence Pros to help us expand an existing underground fence for our new dog. Chris listened to us to understand what we wanted and adjusted the fence that day. He is so knowledgeable with practical tips and information so we felt confident in the system. He didn't try to sell us unneeded equipment and has been available for follow up questions and guidance. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
E-fence was installed quickly and was well marked with flags for training, Chris is friendly , respectful and love dogs, training was great. Our dog learn to respect the flag lines quickly and he plays more freely outside. Great experience overall, The price is fair, I highly recommend E-Fence Pros
I am so pleased with the electric underground fence Chris installed for my Dalmatian. Chris was so pleasant to work with. He was able to install the fence quickly. He came back several times to train my dog and show me how to use the system. His price also was better than the other companies I spoke to. Do not hesitate to work with E-Fence Pros. You don’t be disappointed.
