The company says it has been in business seven years, and its service list covers decks and pavilions, kitchen and bath, additions and new construction, full remodels, custom carpentry and furniture. A recent customer wanted a deck rebuilt in materials that would not need repainting, after the paint on the old wood deck kept peeling. That customer contacted six contractors and said Adam was always quick to respond, was honest about the work effort and potential costs, and communicated about the start time and issues found during the project. The deck was completed on time with only a couple of additional costs, the customer wrote. For a deck renovation, a recent customer said Adam also helped with several other projects within their budget, including a screened room added under the deck, and kept them looped in on decisions and progress. A 2026 customer said Adam transformed a bathroom from "70s yuck to art nouveau magic." A 2025 customer said Adam listened, recommended options they had not considered and finished the job early. A 2024 customer said Adam designed a breakfast bar for their kitchen. A 2025 reviewer praised the company's use of recycled and repurposed materials.
My wife and I decided to have our deck rebuilt using materials that would not need painting every year or two as our deck was wood and the paint constantly pealed. Home Depot gave me six local contractors that could do this kind of deck work. I contacted all six contractors. Some responded, some responded after multiple calls, and some delayed with multiple excuses. Adam with Earthsake Initiatives was always very quick to respond. He looked at the current deck and asked several questions. I felt that he was very honest with me concerning the work effort and potential costs. He sent me a quote and patiently waited while I waited to receive the quotes. I felt comfortable with Adam. I called his references and they all raved about his work, so I selected Earthsake Initiatives. I was not disappointed with my selection! He communicated with me about the start time and any issues and developments found throughout the project. Adam is a very creative person and I could see by his work how he built the new deck and made the area look attractive. The deck was completed on time with only a couple additional costs needed. The new deck is beautiful and my wife and I are very happy with the workmanship put into it.
I am beyond grateful that I found Earthsake Initiatives for our deck renovation (and more!). Adam arrived to give us a quote and in addition to listening to what we needed in a deck, he patiently listened to the whole laundry list of house problems we've come across and projects we wanted to get done. He went above and beyond to not only construct a deck that exceeded every expectation, but helped us tackle several other projects within our budget. One of the biggest was the addition of a bonus screened room under our deck. Adam's artistic talents and expertise were extremely appreciated when we hadn't fully formed our own vision for what we wanted. He's an excellent communicator that kept us looped in along the way with various decisions for us to make and updates on progress. Before working with Earthsake I didn't know where to begin and felt overwhelmed, now it feels like a weight has been lifted and we're thoroughly enjoying all the improvements (that we still can't believe are actually ours)! I recommend Earthsake Initiatives to anyone looking to start a home renovation project and we're already starting to plan out our next project with them. Even if you don't feel quite ready to start your project, call ASAP to discuss and to get on their schedule.
Adam is a gem and totally transformed my bathroom from 70s yuck to art nouveau magic. He takes his time to understand your project, is there every step of the way and he’s thoughtful and kind. His level of skill and talent is not something I’ve ever seen - he does everything well.
Adam’s creations are extremely unique and well thought out. From his artwork which we were lucky enough to acquire a piece, to his construction and building projects. All top notch workmanship and quality. If you are looking for one of a kind bespoke pieces or a bathroom, deck or room remodel Earthsake Initiatives is the choice to make. Great experience all around!
