Maxwell Home Improvement is a Middletown remodeler. Its website lists kitchen and bathroom renovation, flooring, deck and patio installation and concrete services, and names a service area that runs from Middletown and Meriden to Hartford, Waterbury, Bristol and Hamden. One customer said the company removed an old tub/shower combination from a second-floor kids' bathroom and installed a new tub, shower surround and clear glass shower door with a black frame, handling the drywall, tile and trim as well, then cleared out the construction debris. A customer with a disabled partner said two adjacent narrow rooms were turned into a combined laundry and bathroom in two weeks, with Muhammed checking that the shower, toilet and sink were easy to reach. A customer said the company installed a sheet rock ceiling for $2000 less than originally quoted, cutting the 6 inch holes for recessed lighting that the original contractor would not. A Realtor said Max repaired a damaged wall and painted it, and also provided a quote for one of the Realtor's clients. A customer who hired the company in April for a basement laundry utility room, attic insulation and a ceiling fan called the price very reasonable. The work runs outdoors as well. A customer said Muhammed arranged a pickup of patio pavers at Home Depot, and the installation was moved to an earlier date. A customer who uses the company for winter plowing said it cleared the driveway and walkways after every storm.
Maxwell home improvements were able to install a sheet rock ceiling for $2000 less than what was originally quoted to me. The original Contractor was not willing to create 6 inch holes where my recessed lighting would be installed. Maxwell home improvements was able to do this and gave me no trouble. Additionally, they were able to install my ceilings to a height that I wanted and install sheet rock around the beams of the ceiling.
Highly recommend Maxwell Home Improvements! They repaired the hole on my ceiling from a wasp nest and patched the drywall on my ceiling. Everything looks clean and great. They were professional, efficient, and did a really clean and quick job. I’m so grateful, thank you!!!
We are so happy with the work Maxwell Home Improvements LLC did on our kids’ bathroom! Our old tub had developed a crack, and after patching it while we figured out our options, we finally decided it was time for a complete replacement. Maxwell Home Improvements removed the old tub/shower combination and installed a new tub, shower surround, and clear glass shower door with a black frame. We couldn’t be happier with the result! They showed up on time, were professional throughout the entire project, and truly went above and beyond. Since the bathroom is on the second floor, they had to bring everything up and remove the old materials and debris back out, and they took great care of our home throughout the process. The project also involved drywall, tile, trim work, and finishing work, and they handled everything. We really appreciated not having to coordinate several different contractors. And perhaps one of our favorite parts of the new shower is finally getting rid of the shower curtain! It’s our kids’ bathroom, and our cats sneak in and have a terrible habit of chewing shower curtains. So the glass door is not only beautiful, but a very practical upgrade for our family. They also cleaned everything up and removed all of the construction debris when they were finished, which was greatly appreciated. We still plan to repaint the bathroom and update some of the hardware ourselves to finish off the space, but the transformation from the old cracked tub to the new shower is already incredible. We are extremely happy we chose Maxwell Home Improvements LLC and would absolutely recommend them. They did beautiful work, were dependable and professional, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. Thank you for giving us a bathroom we can finally enjoy without worrying about that cracked tub!
