Eventide Landscaping & Design

Eventide Landscaping & Design is a Harwich landscaping company. Its website describes year-round landscape construction, irrigation, maintenance, tree work and bobcat/excavation services on the Lower Cape, with a stated service area of Harwich, Brewster and Chatham. The company says it was founded in 1987 by Eric Maker, who still runs it, with his son Nicholas Maker as operations manager. Its BBB profile gives a 2004 start date instead. A recent Google reviewer who has seen Eventide at work over the last four years says Nic Maker has put together a synchronized crew, and calls Mr. Maker's team professional and knowledgeable whether the job is masonry, tree work or fine gardening. That reviewer also describes a crew member named Jake, a Cape Cod native, as deeply versed in horticulture. The company's Peter Hartnett has appeared in storm coverage on capecodtimes.com.
