In a 2016 review, a customer said Joe knew every part of the project from permits to inspections to dealing with insurance and mortgage companies, that calls were answered within minutes even on weekends, and that the site was left clean every day. A 2012 reviewer said Joe brought in a plumber and an electrician, and a 2010 customer described a larger attic dormer and playroom finished quickly, though the bills went over the original bid. The most recent written review, from 2023, says only that they did an excellent job. The complaints are specific. In a 2017 review, a customer who had a front porch rebuilt for a bill of more than $40,000 said the finish work was sub-par and the company never returned to fix the problems after being paid. A December 2017 reviewer reported a leaking window installation with no follow-through. In a 2020 review, a customer said they paid a deposit for materials the previous May and no work had been done.
