Furty Construction

Two homeowners wrote in July 2026 about the same kind of job — a full home remodel — and one of them, in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, named four things he came away happy with: communication, timeliness, attention to detail and craftsmanship. A third July 2026 customer said an outdated apartment came back as a brand new unit. Furty Construction works out of Fall River. On Angi, where the business is listed as Furty Painting, it describes itself as a full-service general contractor covering eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, veteran owned and operated, with Spanish spoken. The service list there runs from decks and patios to new construction, repairs and renovations, siding and gutters, windows and doors, stairs and railings, painting inside and out, and garage remodeling. The written history starts in 2024 with smaller, more specific work. A homeowner in April 2024 had the roof done and said everything was explained ahead of time; another that same month had windows installed and wrote that siding was next on the list; a third April 2024 customer had a yard fenced and windows put in. In an August 2024 review, a customer described an easy process and a contractor who was easy to reach and open to questions. For a whole-house remodel on the South Coast or across the line into Rhode Island, this is a reasonable call, and the 2024 reviews show the same crew doing single jobs — a roof, a set of windows, a fence. Get the scope and schedule in writing, and ask for the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration number and a certificate of insurance before work starts.
