EAW Roofing and Construction is a Lancaster-area roofing and construction company, self-described as a second-generation family business established in 2000, serving central Massachusetts towns including Worcester, Leominster, Marlborough and Clinton. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is registry-verified active, and the company holds an A+, accredited BBB rating; it also says it's certified by all the major roofing manufacturers. Beyond roofing, the reviews and directory listings describe siding, gutters, chimney work, deck building, window and door installs, finish carpentry, and both residential and commercial jobs. Most of the written reviews, spanning 2022 through 2025, describe strong, specific work: a multi-gable roof replacement called difficult but well executed, a commercial roof replacement praised for professionalism start to finish, a screen porch and trim carpentry job called a transformation, and named project supervisors -- Brandon Weaver, Mike Morrissey -- singled out repeatedly for staying hands-on and responsive throughout a job. But four reviews across the same stretch describe real problems that didn't get resolved to the customer's satisfaction. A November 2021 review said a stairs-and-deck job, costing over $3,000, failed a home-sale inspection and that the company refused to fix it after being notified. A January 2022 review described a window-replacement job that started with one worker instead of the promised two crews, leaving windows installed crooked. A January 2023 review said a chimney-area repair made an existing leak worse rather than better. And a November 2024 review, from a new homeowner invoking a roof warranty from three years earlier, said the company blamed the chimney flue rather than addressing the roof itself. Given that pattern of complaints specifically involves follow-up work and warranty claims rather than the core roof installs, it's worth asking directly what the company's warranty process looks like and getting any repair commitment in writing before the crew leaves.
EAW helped me with a studio build out. They got the job done quickly and efficiently! Eric and his team put a lot of care into their work. I would recommend their services for anyone looking!
We are very pleased with the workmanship and responsiveness of this company. Clean up was in the dark this time of year and we were amazed at how well they did given the lack of light to work in. We would strongly recommend EAW for your roofing project.
Recently bought a house on which EAW Roofing had done the roof 3 years ago. The roof had a leak and since the previous owner gave me the invoice, I decided to call them for the warranty. They went to take a look and blamed the chimney flue and after getting the chimney inspected and getting the report stating that it was the roof. EAW said that there was no warranty and they needed to charge if they were to inspect it and charge for any repairs needed. Just to get them to visit took months. I decided to check the roof myself and it’s the worst roof job that I had ever seen. They do not stand by their work. I would give them zero stars if possible. I would advise to use someone else as it’s ridiculous to have a roof that’s a few years old that’s leaking and in bad workmanship
Brandon Weaver was awesome! He was super responsive and very knowledgeable! He continually checked on the job throughout the day to make sure it went smoothly. I highly recommend EAW Roofing. 10 out of 10!
They were very responsive when we needed to replace our leaking roof quickly Work was top notch and they left no debris behind after the job was done
