Ecoloop Solar Solutions runs out of 10 Elm St in Danvers, handling full solar jobs — design, permitting, the panel install itself, and often a new roof or an EV charger folded into the contract. It describes itself as family owned and operated, with a team based locally in Danvers. How long it's actually been doing this is unclear: the company's own website claims 10-plus years, a Medford Chamber of Commerce listing says 15-plus, and Better Business Bureau records put its incorporation date at September 2019 — six years, not ten or fifteen. Nearly every review, good or bad, centers on a name. Reviewers this spring credited Juanita Quintero and Santiago with walking them through approval and inspection, and Tim Matuszewsk with designing and installing a 13.7kw system that reportedly zeroed out a customer's electric bill; Sandro M.'s crew stayed on schedule through rough weather on that same job. Google puts the company at 4.9 stars across 131 ratings, Angi (listed under the related name Ecoloop Construction, LLP at the same address) shows 5.0 from three reviews, and BBB has it accredited at an A+. That name-driven pattern cuts both ways. One recent one-star review describes the opposite: a salesperson who oversold and then couldn't field technical questions, with no real updates on project status or a working timeline. Another, from the same recent stretch, reports roof leaks that began only after Ecoloop's install — and says the company is now pointing at a roof it inspected and cleared before starting the job, rather than taking responsibility. Before signing anything, get specifics on who stays on the project after the sales conversation ends, and ask what happens — in writing — if something goes wrong with the roof after the panels go up. For a bundled solar-and-roof job, the volume of consistent praise across Google, Angi, and BBB is real; just don't assume the person who sold you the job is the person who'll answer the phone if something leaks.

I had the pleasure of working with Tim Matuszewsk at Ecoloop who help me design and install a 13.7kw system - the most efficient for my needs. From start to finish Tim and his team were incredibly responsive and communicative. My electric bill last month was $0.00!!! I would highly recommend working with them.

I went with this company even though they had slightly higher costs because their salesperson was good, and made me think they would be good at project management throughout. But they are a salesperson and nothing else. They cannot answer technical questions and I have been disappointed at nearly every step. They do not adequately communicate the steps of the process, update you on the status of the project, or give you a realistic timeline start to finish. Do not, seriously, do not support this company.

Great experience across the board! Tim M. was thorough on the proposal and very patient with all my questions throughout the process, and Sandro M. and his team did a heroic job on the install, staying on schedule despite some really brutal weather! A few months in, I've had no issues, and enjoy watching my electric meter running backwards on sunny days.
