EHS Cleaning is barely a year old — incorporated on 9 July 2025 — and its founder is upfront about where the standards came from. Ediele Sousa writes that she arrived from Brazil in 2016 after starting out as a financial analyst, and that her mother, who worked full-time as a housekeeper, taught her to care for a home when she was five. She runs the Stoneham company as a woman-owned and immigrant-owned business. The work leans commercial: janitorial and facility maintenance for apartment buildings, condominium common areas and offices, with residential cleaning offered alongside it. The company says it covers Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. The Better Business Bureau gives it an A-, and is explicit that the grade turns on one thing only — how long the business has been operating. It is not BBB accredited, and its file shows no complaints. What it also shows is nobody talking: no customer reviews anywhere, which is what you would expect of a company this new. Two things to settle before you book. The BBB lists a single employee while the company describes crews and team cleaning, so ask who will actually be in your building and how many of them. And because there is no written history to lean on, ask for two or three current property-manager or homeowner references you can call — a year-old cleaner with real accounts will have them ready.
