Merry Maids of North Shore

Merry Maids of North Shore is a Merry Maids franchise location based in Stoneham, providing recurring and one-time home cleaning services — including deep cleaning, move-in/move-out, post-construction and specialty appliance cleaning — to homeowners across the North Shore, from Stoneham and Reading to Salem, Revere and Andover. The Better Business Bureau grades the company A. Across 64 reviews from 2021 through 2026 (Google rates the company 4.6 stars on 102 ratings), named cleaners are repeatedly praised across years of service: Ana, Roxana, Margarita in the office, and Mirquella all come up by name for thorough, careful work on both recurring and one-time jobs. Reviewers describe deep-clean and move-out visits leaving carpets spotless and bathrooms immaculate, and the company is credited with accommodating customer preferences, including using a customer's own non-harsh cleaning products on request. One reviewer has used the service for monthly cleanings for more than eight years. When an initial cleaning fell short in an April 2026 review, a different technician returned within days and exceeded expectations correcting it. A few specific issues are worth knowing about. In an October 2024 review, a customer said a bathroom cleaning left a stream of water in the basement that the crew did not clean up before leaving the property. In a June 2026 review, a customer said they received six follow-up calls and texts after a single consultation despite telling the company they were not interested. And a long-time customer's 2022 review, while positive overall, noted that cleaning quality can vary depending on which team is assigned. For North Shore homeowners looking for reliable recurring or one-time cleaning, the specific, name-checked praise for regular crews here is the strongest signal — though given the team-to-team variance some reviewers describe, it's worth asking to keep the same crew for repeat visits.
