Eliezer Silva runs Final Touch Property Maintenance out of Bean Road in Sterling — an owner-operated shop Angi lists with 21 years of experience. The work splits two ways: painting, inside and out, and the kind of full remodel where painting is the last step. The written accounts are old, but unusually detailed. A homeowner writing in August 2015 described collecting bids from several contractors and going with Silva for the fastest and most detailed one, sent within a day and backed by photographs of recent jobs; over the eight days that followed, the crew laid dropcloths across her yard, cleaned up daily, and checked with her before touching any repair beyond the original bid. Another customer that same month wrote about a $38,000 renovation where rotted wood and structural problems only surfaced once the building inspector came through — she said nothing outside the contract happened without her approval, and that Silva wouldn't take final payment until they had walked the finished job together. A May 2015 reviewer liked the painting enough to bring the crew back for her whole interior: floors, crown molding, new doors, a shower unit. Angi averages 5.0 across six ratings, every one of them five stars — and every one written between 2008 and 2015. The present-day activity shows up in permits instead. BuildZoom counts 17 permitted projects, four in the past three years — new two-family construction and gut renovations in Fitchburg, decks and remodels in Lancaster, Billerica, Chelmsford and Roxbury — and lists a Massachusetts construction supervisor licence, CS-108435, which it says it confirmed active in July 2026. That is the directory's check, not the state's. Two things worth raising on the call. The praise is a decade old, so ask for recent addresses — the Fitchburg and Lancaster jobs are the ones to ask about. And in that 2015 renovation, the one snag the customer named wasn't the crew but the dumpster company, whose truck cut deep grooves in her driveway and took a couple of weeks to return; settle up front who is responsible for site damage from subcontracted deliveries. A good fit if you want one crew for a paint-and-carpentry job or a full remodel around Sterling and Worcester. Confirm the construction supervisor licence with the state yourself, and ask to see the recent Fitchburg work.

I received an excellent job! I received bids from a number of contractors but I got the fastest response and the most detailed bid from Eliezer. He was prompt in meeting with me to look at the job and sent me a bid within a day. He showed me photographs of other recent work he had completed. From those photos it was clear his company could do carpentry repairs as well as do the painting. From start to finish I was kept informed of of what was happening and what was going to be done next. They used dropcloths to protect the yard. They cleaned up every day and removed all the construction debris. Eliezer was very careful to check with me before they did any repair beyond what was in my original bid. He would show me the area in question, explain why he was showing it to me and to describe how they would proceed with the repair. I could agree to the repair or decline. I was not pressured into any work I didn't want. The work took about 8 days. The entire crew worked steadily while they were here. All of them were very polite, neat, and professional. I was asked to inspect the job and show him anything I thought needed attention before they finished. At the end of the job, before they left, they did a careful sweep around the house to make certain everything was picked up and tidy. I sat down with Eliezer, and we went over the entire bid and the revisions for the additional repairs so I knew exactly what I was paying for.
All of the work was contracted and approved up front. The bones of the house looked good and it was only after they started and the building inspector came around that the problems of rotted wood and structural issues came to light. Still Elizer took me through every step of the way and did nothing outside of the original contract without consulting me. Not only were they highly professional at all times, they went out of their way to make sure I was happy. For instance one of the entry doors was not to my liking at all, so without question, they swapped it out for one I did like. Also they put together new floor to ceiling cabinets for the storage room and helped me move furniture displaced by the work back where it belonged. Since nothing comes assembled anymore they put together a new desk for the den. They worked steadily and swiftly but thoroughly and competently with only a few minor setbacks due to weather when working on the porches. If they had to hire out e.g. the electrician, he was also competent and very professional. Once the work was finished Elizer wouldn't accept final payment until we both did a walk through and if there was a problem (very minor ones) he either fixed it right away or within the next day or two. There was one problem where the dumpster made deep groves in my driveway and it took a couple of weeks before that company came by to fix it, but Elizer stayed on them until the work was done. When the house was finished they cleaned up all the debris including some bushes that were uprooted up by the porches, and left the yard immaculate as though they had never been there. All in all I like Final Touch Property Maintenance and highly recommend them as I did to the people who stopped by to admire the work as it went along. I don't have any pictures as I was working full time and didn't have a chance to take pictures as it was being remodeled, but the company has some and has my permission to release them to you if needed. I would definitely give this company an "A" rating. Please let me know if you need anything else.
I was so impressed with the work they did painting, I had them come back and update the whole interior of my house, from new floors, to walls, to crown molding, to new doors throughout, including sliding closet doors. I also had them put in a new shower unit in the spare bedroom and it works perfectly. It was a challenge as I have an older mobile home and not everything is normal house size, but the Final Touch crew worked diligently and were able to give me a beautiful brand new interior to my house. I had no problem leaving a key with them while I went to work and were very respectful of the house itself and surrounding property. They picked up everything that was left over and left the property clean and tidy.
Final Touch did an excellent job. They worked through a number of structural challenges in our very old house. The kitchen and bath now has new appliances and cabinets. The installation and painting went flawlessly. They finished on schedule despite delays beyond their control. Final Touch was very responsive to small changes and suggestions and they paid close attention to details. I found that frequent (two times per day) communications and reviews of work progress helped tremendously to obtain the results that I envisioned.
Final Touch Painting since the first day they was organized, and all my furnitures was protected with plastic and my hardwood floor/carpet was protected with drop cloth, so no question about them, I will going to hire them again when if I need it. They performed a excellent job.
