Two names come up over and over in Full Circle's reviews, and neither of them is the company's. Gene, the owner, shows up to quote — often the same day someone calls — and then a crew lead, usually Vinny or Fernando, runs the job and gets thanked by name. Across 150 Google ratings averaging five stars and a written history running 2019 to this month, that hand-off is the pattern homeowners describe. The Holden company paints inside and out and keeps carpenters on staff, which is why so many of the accounts start as painting and end somewhere else. A July 2025 nonprofit moving into an 1826 building with 25-foot ceilings and walls left full of nails by a leathersmith called them miracle workers. A March 2025 customer with a 100-year-old house described spot carpentry repairs, colour choices and a coordinated schedule. A May 2024 reviewer said another company had washed and immediately painted their house six years earlier, causing major peeling; Full Circle spent days sanding it back, primed, and repainted. In August 2025 a homeowner credited the carpenter for a back porch that needed extensive repairs before any paint went on. Prep is the through-line. The company's own site describes a five-step surface-preparation process, a wash that treats mould and mildew rather than just rinsing, and a 24-to-48-month workmanship warranty on exterior work; reviewers independently describe sanding, plaster patching and daily clean-up. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #194067, is active on the state registry. BBB grades it A+ without accrediting it. The counterweight sits in October 2023, when two one-star accounts landed a day apart. One, on Houzz, alleges a flat paint was applied over a primer it should not have been used with, that the whole house cracked and peeled, and that the company would not pay to fix it; the other, on Google, says only "Poor quality and poor business practices. No integrity." Nothing since repeats that complaint — the last seventeen reviews, all inside the past six months, are positive — but a paint-failure dispute is the exact risk a homeowner is trying to avoid, so ask how they handle a coating failure and get the warranty terms in writing. For a Worcester County repaint with real prep behind it — old plaster, cedar siding, wallpaper to strip, rot to cut out first — this is a well-documented choice. Confirm the registration number yourself, ask which crew lead is running your job, and pin the exterior warranty down on paper before the first wash.
High quality work along with exceptional service. It was a pleasure to interact with everyone at Full Circle Painting. We had ceiling and wall damage in 3 rooms because of ice dams this past winter. Vinnie and Wilson repaired and painted all of the affected areas to look like new.
We could not be more pleased with the interior painting at our home. Absolutely beautiful work, flawless. The attention to detail is outstanding.
