HomeAdvisor shows 3.7 stars from 221 ratings, and the BBB gives it a C- grade and counts 6 complaints. A dbr.ri.gov page lists complaint number 25-131, claiming incomplete and improper work. A recent customer who took a day out of work said they had promised to call about 45 minutes ahead, never called, and showed up two hours late. A 2025 customer quoted $3,000 for a chimney repair said something was broken during the work that sent the whole chimney collapsing inside the home, causing $10,000 in repairs. A 2024 customer who hired the company to rebuild a chimney said it did over $35,000 of damage to the roof, outdoor furniture, bulkhead and a second-floor ceiling, and that requests for its insurance information went unanswered. A 2024 customer said an undersized chimney liner that did not meet code filled the house with smoke and fumes, had to be removed, and no refund was given. A 2022 customer said the fireplace had not worked properly since a new liner went in, and that two more trips did not fix it. Waited the timeframe. They said they were coming. They also said they’d call about 45 minutes prior no call no-show and then they show up two hours late. I took a day out of work to be home waiting for them and they were a no-show that is not acceptable.
Before my project even started, I was so impressed with the time Ed took to explain every detail of the work to be done and to educate me on the job! The most important part of the project was completed the very same day of the appraisal ensuring my home was safe! I can't praise the guys enough! They are a great crew to work with right from the start with Gina organizing the project!
