Casey's Chimney and Wood Stove Service describes itself on the BBB as specializing in chimney building, sweeping, repair and liners, and its website says it has been in business 53 years. Its BBB grade is A+. A 2025 customer said Casey's came out about a water leak in their chimney during rain and storms and sealed a leak, telling them it could not be 100% sure it was the only one. That 2025 customer said that several months and many storms later they had seen no signs of water leaking, and that a cleaning was done during the same work while keeping dust and dirt to a minimum. The same 2025 customer said the prices were very reasonable for the time spent and that Casey's did not try to upsell unneeded work. A recent customer called the company honest and said it gave an honest consultation. A 2026 customer said they had used Casey's for over 20 years and credited Valerie with the customer service. A 2025 customer who called for a price on a new chimney cap said they were told there was no charge for a quote, then were told on the reminder call of a $150 charge for an inspection.
They are honest to a fault and highly competent. It’s wonderful to be able to get an honest consultation from professionals who aren’t greedy!

We had Casey’s come out and look at our chimney this past spring ( Around the first or second week of April 2025.) Specifically a water leak during rain/storms. Casey's told us at the time of the visit and service that they couldn’t be 100% sure if the leak they sealed would be the only leak or the actual leak we were seeing. They also told me to keep an eye out for leaks during storms and to call them if we saw any. Several months and many storms later we have not seen any signs of water leaking during storms. We found the owner, his crew and the receptionist who we talked to on the phone be very knowledgable, professional and honest. They also performed a cleaning while doing the other work and were very conscious of trying to keep the dust and dirt to a minimum while performing the cleaning. On top of that, we feel the prices were very reasonable for the amount of time they spent doing the work. They did not try to up sell us with a bunch of un-needed work. A real old world, real local business!! Thank You Casey's Chimney!!
These people are not trustworthy. I called to ask about getting a price for a new chimney cap. She says there's no charge for a quote, so I scheduled the appointment. The day before, she calls to remind me. I said I just want to verify there's no charge for this quote, correct? She said there's $150 charge for an "inspection." I told her I didn't ask for an inspection I just want a quote on a chimney cap. Unbelievable. Needless to say, NO contractor steps foot on my soil unless they verify IN WRITING there's no charge for an estimate. End of story. .
I highly recommend Casey’s chimney. They are extremely knowledgeable and thorough and do great work!
