Rockhound Masonry

A stone wall fixed, front steps replaced in granite, the top eight feet of a chimney rebuilt off scaffolding — that is the work customers describe at Rockhound Masonry. The Norton shop does custom brick and stone: walls, walkways, staircases, patios, porches and repairs. The company says the trade came down through a family of stone masons and carpenters with roots in Italy. Its Google average is 5 stars across 46 ratings, on 28 written reviews going back to 2022. A July 2026 customer said Joe fixed their stone wall and kept in touch every step of the way. A May 2026 reviewer had the front steps of their office building replaced in granite while under a deadline. In April 2025, a customer described the crew rebuilding the top eight feet of a chimney from scaffolding set on uneven ground, then cleaning up the site. Design is part of what people are buying. In a May 2025 review, a customer handed over a backyard spot they didn't know what to do with; Joe came out, laid out a plan, and he and Kenny built it. Another April 2025 reviewer had two stone walkways put in, complete with stairs and four granite posts out front. Price comes up on its own. Several reviewers between 2022 and 2025 mentioned prices they considered fair, and one June 2022 customer said Joseph repointed and capped two retaining walls off the driveway and replaced a set of steps for less money than the original estimate, and in less time. The work isn't only residential either — a company writing in April 2025 said Rockhound had completed several projects and repairs for them that year. A good call when the stonework needs designing as much as building: a wall, a walkway, granite steps, a chimney that needs rebuilding rather than patching. Pin down the scope and the price in writing before the first stone moves, and ask for a current certificate of liability insurance.
