Elliott's Information Services does home inspections, and its website says it provides residential and commercial inspections in Presque Isle, Bangor, Augusta, Portland and surrounding areas in Maine. That same customer said the report arrived within a couple of hours, sorted items into what is good, what to keep in mind for maintenance and small repairs, and what needs to be handled ASAP, and called the pricing very fair. One recent customer said Bill spent 3 hours looking at every little thing. A customer who had a 2 unit inspected said the report came within a half hour of completion. One customer arranged a mold inspection and had an appointment within a few days. A 2026 customer listed drones, pictures and a look at sewer lines on a primary home inspection, and said the report showed pictures of the entire inspection. In a 2025 review, an out-of-state buyer of a vacation home in Aroostook county said Bill took time to explain everything during and after the inspection and answered questions about upkeep after the purchase. In a 2023 review, a customer said Mr. Elliot answered his phone at 9:00 am on a Sunday morning and that the final report had high resolution photos of the issues discovered. One recent customer said that when it came time to access the attic, Bill chose not to move a very small personal item and did not reach out to the customer's realtor for approval to move it. The report noted the inaccessible area, but the customer said it was not made clear the attic was not inspected; after moving in, the customer discovered mold that will likely require costly remediation. A recent customer who filled out information on the website said there was no response.
