Emerald City Construction's BuildZoom profile says Yosef Oz established the company in 1987 to rehabilitate houses in the historic Armory District in Providence's west end, specializing in the preservation of Victorian period houses. On its own website, the company says it does home remodeling, renovations, roofing, decks and ADU construction. A 2013 BuildZoom customer said the company installed energy efficient windows in their house, and that Mr. Oz emailed several times after the install was complete to make sure they were satisfied. A 2013 BuildZoom reviewer wrote that they used Emerald City to redo work done by a less conscientious builder, and that Yosef communicated consistently about ongoing work, changes and work days. A recent Google customer described the contractor as professional and responsible.
