“Empire Paving Rules Over I-95 Interchange Project in Stratford”
Awful experience, pricing and management. Stay away from this company.
Driving like a mad man. Cutting people off and break checking people. Saw him yell at another car and throw a cup at them. Crazy representation for a paving company that’s on the brink of bankruptcy.
I had a very disappointing experience dealing with Earl. His behavior toward my wife was completely unacceptable and extremely disrespectful. There is absolutely no excuse for speaking to a customer the way he did.
Empire Paving did an excellent job paving our marina. From start to finish, the work was professional, efficient, and high quality. Earl was extremely punctual, very knowledgeable, and fairly priced, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What really stands out is the team — every time I pass their crews on the highway, they’re smiling, waving, and genuinely friendly. It says a lot about the company culture. I’d highly recommend Empire Paving to anyone looking for reliable, top-notch paving work.
Filed a state claim against the CT DOT for damage I received to my vehicle while driving on interstate 84 prior to exit 14. Followed the procedures outlined in the CT DOT claims process, who forwarded my claim to Empire paving and when I contacted them to check the status of the claim they said there was no evidence of their wrong doing. I submitted the claim along with receipts from BMW stating the damage and Brian Fesla the GM stated I needed a police report which is no where in the claims process. He stated I needed evidence that the damage was caused by them. A week later they paved the damage area and I had no opportunity to make record of the evidence. How’s this Brian …my car had no dash lights on before hitting the “man made pot hole” your crews created when stripping the highway and last time I checked BMW mechanics are certified which you stated that was not enough evidence. Lastly you stated my car was over 20 years old and had over 260K miles on it which both statements are wrong and irrelevant! You are a pathetic person who scams the general public and for $710 dollars you could have done the right and moral thing here but you chose to hide behind a lame excuse and bring up information that is no where to be found in the CT DOT claims process. You Empire and Brian the GM should be ashamed of yourself and your actions in handling this claim!
