Mold remediation has drawn sharply different customer accounts for EnviroVantage. In a February 2026 Google review, one customer said its quote was among the lower prices received, praised the work and felt comfortable that the mold had been removed. A December 2025 reviewer said the mold problem remained after remediation and complained about inexperienced crews, punctuality, professionalism and containment practices. An undated BBB review also reports an unresolved mold problem. The company says it has operated since 1985, when Scott Knightly founded it in New Hampshire, and identifies him as its founder and CEO. From its Epping headquarters and offices in Haverhill, Massachusetts, Westbrook, Maine, and Edgewood, Maryland, it describes work for homeowners alongside government, institutional and industrial clients. Its stated work includes asbestos abatement, lead and heavy-metals removal, mold remediation, PCB and PFAS remediation, structural takedown, selective demolition and duct cleaning. The company describes its duct cleaning as NADCA-certified. Google shows a 3.5-star average from 29 ratings. A May 2026 reviewer described EnviroVantage as trustworthy and experienced in environmental abatement and demolition. BBB assigns an A+ grade but identifies the business as not accredited; it lists an EPA license number for the company. An October 2025 Google reviewer described weeks waiting for a quotation callback and a job booked months out. They said only two of five quoted tasks were initially completed before a bill marked the job finished. After emails and further visits, the reviewer said the work was mostly done but the attic remained messy and some quoted work still needed finishing. They reported taking four days off work and criticized communication, while describing the technicians as nice and polite. Seacoastonline has also reported an asbestos-management violation involving EnviroVantage.
