Rob quotes a price and a number of days, and customers keep writing that both held. A July 2024 customer said the estimate turned out to be the exact final price with no last-minute surprises, that Mike arrived on time every day, and that the job finished in the two days promised. A basement job in May 2024 started on the scheduled day and took exactly as long as they had said it would. A June 2026 customer wrote almost the same sentence. Epoxy Flooring Systems works out of Plymouth, coating garage, basement, metallic, colour-flake, commercial kitchen and industrial floors across southeastern Massachusetts, the Cape and Rhode Island. Rob runs it and works the jobs with one or two others. The floors people describe are mostly garages and basements. In 2024 a dusty hundred-year-old basement became usable space, and another household had a non-skid epoxy floor put down. In 2022 a customer had the drive-under garage, the landing at the base of the stairs and a storage room all coated in one visit. There is commercial work too: an animal hospital had its floors redone in February 2024. Quotes come back quickly — a 2023 customer inquired on a Saturday afternoon and had pricing and availability by Sunday morning, and another that year, after a quote from a competitor they called ridiculous, found Rob's pricing fair. One account is a serious warning, and it is about what happens after the floor cures. In March 2024 a customer wrote that the floor looked amazing until they started driving on it: within a week the epoxy was chipping off and lifting, and two years of calls to Rob had gone unanswered. For a garage or basement floor, this is a small crew whose prices and dates hold. Before you sign, get the surface preparation into the quote — how the concrete will be ground or profiled, and which coating system is going down — and get the coating warranty in writing along with how a claim is made.
