A recent Reddit commenter on r/northshore said they have used Esquire Moving for their last four or so moves, and watched them get a queen boxspring down a very narrow curved stairwell. The same commenter said the company is out of Boston and charges for its travel time from its headquarters. The company describes itself as a Boston-based mover founded in 2013, offering local, long-distance, residential and commercial moves plus packing, storage, junk removal and specialty moving. On Google, a recent customer said Franklin and Yovani got their move from an apartment building to a home done quickly and safely. A recent Google reviewer said the movers came on time and treated their belongings with a lot of care. A 2026 customer credited Brian and team with their move from Massachusetts to North Carolina. In a 2025 review, a customer said Miguel and the Boys helped sort and move three storage units in two hours. A 2024 customer said Darkan and his guys moved an enormous, extremely heavy bookcase from the front hallway to the office, where the logistics were tricky, and called the pricing very fair. A 2023 customer using movers for the first time said the job finished very quickly and cost less than the quote. A recent one-star Google reviewer said they were quoted $405 for a three-hour minimum to move office items into storage, with travel time included, and were told at the end, before the three hours were up, that they owed $680. A 2025 reviewer said a short-distance move quoted at $500 to $750 was charged over a grand, and that a 7% discount they were told about was not honored. A 2024 customer gave three stars: on time with good communication, but well over the estimate for the job. In a 2024 review, a customer said the movers scratched the wood floors throughout their house by sliding boxes and furniture, and that the company later replied its movers did not damage the floors. A 2022 customer said the company tried to charge $20 per flight of stairs and cancelled the entire move when they refused the charge.
