Jay was very professional and detail-oriented. He was also very prompt and matter-of-fact about updates, delays, and any changes to the established plan. He was very respectful when sharing or workshopping variations to my suggested build and ultimately what he recommended is the only way I can ever picture it being now. Definitely recommend, and when I have another project he’ll be on my call list. Edit: when my deck railing was damaged by a storm a few weeks later he came out within days of my message to check on the damaged and get it fixed
We hired Jay to build a two-car garage with a full foundation and an above-garage master bedroom and bathroom, and we were extremely happy with the result. From the start, Jay was professional, thoughtful, and very family-oriented, and the quality of his work was evident throughout the project. He managed subcontractors well, and everyone involved was respectful of our home and space, which made the process much easier for us. Scheduling was handled responsibly and transparently. Even with a very rainy period and overlap from a prior project, Jay communicated clearly and put in extra time, including weekends, to keep the project moving and finish very close to the original timeline. Throughout the build, it was clear that Jay was attentive to how the project was going and to our overall experience as homeowners. For example, he added a French drain for the garage at no additional cost because he felt it would improve the long-term outcome and leave us with a better final result. The quality of the work was excellent. Jay stood behind his building decisions and addressed any small issues promptly and professionally. We would confidently recommend Jay to anyone looking for a high-quality addition built with care and integrity by a trusted builder.
I have known Jay for 5 years now and have had the pleasure of working with him on multiple projects. Jay is honest, meticulous, and fair. He is the definition of a true craftsman
Jay was amazing to work with. He definitely deserves 5 stars. From beginning to end he was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Never taking short cuts on the project. Recommending little things to help make the project better. Always on time and kept us updated on any issues. I’m definitely using Jay again to finish my lower deck.
Exceptional job by Ethics! Opened up chimney box to repair entire box due to mice damage. Major construction job of rebuilding and painting cedar chimney box after cleaning out and insulating damaged area. Skilled, conscientious, precise, easy to communicate with, trustworthy and fair pricing! Not enough great adjectives to describe Jay Nadeau! Thank you so much!
