European Architectural Supply sells windows most American builders have never handled: Schuco aluminum systems, triple-glazed tilt-and-turn units, lift-and-slide doors, aluminum-clad European white oak — built in Europe and shipped to the job site. The Littleton company supplies architects and contractors working on Passive House and Net Zero projects around the country, says it has been bringing these windows to North America for 20 years, and its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. What customers write about is the buying process, and it goes well when the company stays engaged. A homeowner in May 2026 said the installer on their new build, 35 years into fitting windows, called theirs the nicest he had ever installed. Another that month bought Schuco triple-paned lift-and-slide doors along with tilt-and-turn and fixed windows, and reported on-time delivery and a smooth installation. A third thanked nearly the whole office by name for help choosing the product before the sale and for support long after it. An architect at Macht Architecture, writing in August 2024, has used the company across multiple projects. The complaints are that same relationship in reverse, and both are from 2025. In March, a buyer wrote that a production issue with their large sliding doors drew no call and no email back, leaving them thousands of dollars in with doors that did not work. In February, someone who asked for a straightforward quote said nobody returned the call. One more thing, depending on where you are building: a January 2025 commenter in r/Homebuilding said the company does not carry a Florida Product Approval number, which coastal Florida code requires. The right fit here is a project where the windows are the point — a high-performance new build, a Passive House retrofit, a specific European system an architect has already specified. Because the units are made overseas and shipped, pin down the lead time, who owns the order once it lands, and exactly who you call if a unit arrives wrong or a part fails. Get that contact in writing before the deposit.

We purchased all of the windows for our new build from EAS and we LOVE them! The installer we had has been doing windows for 35 years and he stated that they are the nicest windows he has EVER installed. The project manager was so impressed that he stated that if he ever built a house for himself, he would definitely use EAS. The tilt/turn windows are incredible. We are very satisfied with our purchase and know that the windows will serve us well for many years.
We couldn't be more pleased with our choice of Schuco triple paned lift and slide doors, tilt and turn windows and fixed windows that we purchased through EAS. The company is easy to work with and very responsive. The windows were delivered on time and installation went very smoothly. The windows and doors are beautiful and they function extremely well for Vermont winters. If i built or renovated another home i would not hesitate to contact EAS again.
The whole gang at EAS were awesome. Pre-sale and post-sales both. They were very knowledgeable that helped tremendously in the product selection and they were there with excellent customer support long after the sale. Thank you Christo, Peter, Athena, Lukas, Patrik, Katarina, Lazaros, & Greg. All fantastic to deal with! Window performance was and still is top notch!!!
European Architectural Supply is a company that I highly recommend. Their customer service and follow-through are exceptional. You can read below for more about them in detail, but I can’t emphasize enough how great they are. It all began when I came across several videos online that showcased their product and installation process, presented by Matt Reisinger, a YouTuber, and his architect on his show. As an architect myself, I could comprehend and appreciate their expertise. Architects typically don’t earn a lot unless they own a firm, and I certainly don’t fit into either category. I wanted to invest in a high-quality product and understand the process. I was willing to wait until I could afford something I truly desired or stretch my budget when something was needed and offered good value. I have a small home, just over 2000 square feet, with seven window openings and six door openings. I contacted EAS, Pella, Marvin, and Anderson to get quotes from all of them. Marvin mentioned that the job was too small for them to provide a good clean proposal or estimate. Anderson and Pella also couldn’t provide a satisfactory proposal or estimate. They all received the same information. I gave up on Anderson. Pella kept trying to answer my questions, and even after seven attempts they still couldn’t provide the correct information. I finally stopped asking them to revise their proposals. EAS assigned Christos, who works in Europe, to assist me in obtaining a proposal and cost estimate. EAS got It right the very first time. Christos answered all my questions and provided accurate information from the very start. I learned from Anderson and Pella, that the same comparable window and door was actually cheaper from EAS than from either of their companies. This was not what I had expected. I was willing to pay a bit more for a high-quality insulated triple-pane window and door, but surprisingly EAS turned out to be the best price, which made it a no-brainer for me. Christos was very pleasant to work with. He brought several professional opinions from his past experience to the table and helped me make some excellent decisions. He understood the design and the idea I was trying to create and suggested many things that were really helpful. After about 10 iterations, we finally reached a point where I could sign off and have manufacturing start. Everything was within the time frame, which I was expecting and understanding. I’ve been in my home for a little over a year now, and everything is functioning extremely well. I had one minor issue with a lift and slide door, that Peter, one of the managers, was able to resolve in a video call. I live in a remote area of the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, so getting someone here is quite difficult. They had already planned on scheduling a flight for someone to come and take a look at it, but I didn’t want anyone to have to go through that expense if it was something I could help fix. Peter and I were able to solve the problem in about 15 minutes. It was just a bolt that had slipped and needed to be adjusted, but it was quite challenging to figure that out. It shows a lot of integrity for them to stand behind their product as they do, especially as remote as I am from their home office. Overall, everything has performed better than expected. The windows and doors are beautiful, and I can’t express my gratitude enough. I’ll do another report or review on the NUKI key door lock. We just installed it on our personal entry door i.e. the laundry room door.
there was a production issue with our big sliding doors. Patrick did not call back nor email to deal with this matter. it was obviously a mistake to buy from them if they dont adhere to basic business etikette: service. we spent thousands of dollars and now have a non functioning door.
