Evering Electric and electricians saved the day. Great response time and stellar safety precautions, reviewing my electrical system. Very Grateful for our long standing relationship and exceptional work!
I hired Evering Electric to install a floor outlet on the first floor of my home this past May. They sent a journeyman and an apprentice to perform the installation. They tied into a basement light circuit for the outlet, at one of my three-way light switches. Upon completion of their work, the floor outlet tested fine. After they left my home, I went downstairs to find that the light switch no longer operated the basement lights. I called Evering back and they sent the same two workers to troubleshoot and repair later that afternoon. It took them an additional hour, and after I suggested they try replacing the switch, the issue was remedied. It was in fact a malfunctioning switch, most likely damaged during the install of the cable/wires for the floor outlet. I received their invoice 4 days later and noted that they charged me for the additional labor and material to replace the switch that their workers damaged. I disputed the charges for the return visit. Evering nicely apologized and removed the additional hour of labor and material for the replacement switch. They also charged me a lower labor rate. Though their first time quality of their work was not up to par, and their invoicing was not accurate, they did remedy all installation and billing issues to my complete satisfaction.
Used them three times for different projects. Always professional, always on time, always friendly.
We recently moved into an older home and did some light renovations. We used Evering for all the electrical work. We kept adding projects and they worked with us every step of the way. From scheduling and discussing the projects to the techs being on site, the entire team was amazing to work with. I highly recommend Evering.
