Fagundes Plumbing Heating AC

Fagundes Plumbing Heating AC is a family-owned plumbing and HVAC contractor operating out of Tyngsborough, Massachusetts and Nashua, New Hampshire, serving the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire; the company reports 15 years in business. Alvaro Fagundes and the company hold active, registry-verified licenses in both states it works in — a Massachusetts HVAC license, a Massachusetts plumbing license, and a New Hampshire plumbing license. Reviewers name technicians constantly and specifically — Miles, Ryan, Bryan Dunn, Eddie, Jimmy, Steve/Steven Dudley, and Sonith all draw repeat, individual praise for explaining problems clearly and working cleanly. Recent reviews describe next-day or same-day response for AC failures and hot-water emergencies, and several describe more involved jobs handled well: full heat-pump conversions replacing old oil furnaces and central AC, a generator gas-line install, and mini-split systems installed in homes with no existing ductwork (one such install, described in a 2018 review, is now a dated but still-referenced part of the written record). Aggregate scores are strong — 4.9 stars on Google from 559 ratings and 4.8 stars on Houzz. The one recurring theme worth asking about is pricing on small jobs. A 2026 review criticized a $1,100 quote for a simple 1-pound refrigerant recharge as far above the roughly $25 material cost, calling the labor charge excessive. It's an isolated complaint against an otherwise strongly positive record, but getting a clear, itemized quote before authorizing small repairs is a reasonable step. For plumbing repairs, water heater replacement, and HVAC installation or service — especially mini-split and heat-pump work — the reviews describe a responsive, well-run local operation with active licensing in both states it serves. Confirming cost specifics up front on smaller repairs is the main thing to check before booking.
