An April 2025 Google reviewer said The Gas Connection restored a three-year-old Trane HVAC system after other companies had failed to fix it or declined the service. The customer credited Jay with explaining the problems, ordering the correct part and getting the system running. Based in Nashua, the company describes its work as residential and light-commercial heating, cooling and plumbing, including heat pumps, water heaters and maintenance agreements. Its website says it was established in 1979 to serve Nashua and surrounding communities. Its New Hampshire mechanical business entity licence is active. The company also says it has NATE-certified technicians and is a Trane Comfort Specialist. Customers describe replacement projects as well as repairs. In a March 2026 Google review, a customer thanked Dave and the crew for A/C and boiler replacements, including tailoring the solution to the house and presenting alternatives without trying to sell unwanted equipment. An August 2025 reviewer credited Dave and Jason with replacing a central A/C unit. In May 2025, another customer described an emergency water-heater replacement and an A/C check, praising Jason's work. A December 2024 Reddit commenter said the company had worked on their A/C system and installed an on-demand water heater. Repair accounts include a February 2025 Google review in which a customer said a mini-split repair cost 87% less than another company's $3,300 quote. In November 2023, a reviewer said Jason diagnosed a furnace problem, identified a gasket needing replacement, replaced the thermostat and explained the work. A September 2022 reviewer credited Tim with redesigning an HVAC system that had remained troublesome after a substantial house remodel. More recently, an August 2026 Google reviewer praised quick responses, and a May 2026 Reddit commenter in Mont Vernon described good pricing and service. There are complaints to weigh alongside those experiences. In April 2024, a long-standing customer reported recurring trouble with a combination heater/water heater and said Dave spoke disrespectfully, ended the business relationship and left them with a nonfunctioning unit. A March 2023 reviewer alleged that a driver nearly hit their car while using a phone and then laughed; the reviewer said they called to complain. In December 2021, a prospective customer said an expected callback about an estimate never came. Google lists a 4.6-star average from 73 ratings. BBB gives the business an A+ grade and says it is not accredited.
