Faille Electric Inc is a Plainville, MA electrical business. The company says it was founded in 1982 by James "Jim" Faille, who owned and operated it along with his two sons until his unexpected passing in 2022, and it reports 44 years in business. Its website lists 24/7 emergency service, and on its Better Business Bureau profile the company describes residential and commercial electrical service. Chris and his team recently chased down a difficult electrical issue, and Chris kept the customer informed of the progress. Another recent review calls it a family run business that is honest, fair and very knowledgeable. In a 2025 review, the company installed recessed lighting, new electrical outlets and a generator hook-up at a home, along with some existing repairs that were needed. An estimate was provided promptly with a very quick service window, that customer found Chris and Matt great to work with, and the pricing was called very fair. In 2024, four new smoke detectors were installed in a condo where the existing units were mistakenly going into alarm in the middle of the night. The job was complete two days after the first contact through the company's website; Chris worked efficiently and took away all the trash generated, and the detectors were working properly afterward.
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Faille Electric Inc. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.

Typical electrical project around $820
Great family run business. Honest fair and very knowledgeable.
We need to thank Chris and his team for chasing down a difficult electrical issue. We couldn't be happier with how we were treated and how he kept us informed of the progress. We would Highly Recommend Faille Electric. Thank you again Chris and Team!!
Jim and the boys are great. Used them many times over the past years. Workmanship is subpurb. Highly Recommended.
I recently had recessed lightning, some new electrical outlets, some existing repairs that were needed and a generator hook-up installed at my home. Not soon after I reached out to Faille Electric, Inc., I was contacted and an appointment was set up to come out to see what work I would like performed. An estimate was provided promptly and a very quick service window was provided. There was no need to have to wait around to get the project started. Chris, and Matt were great to work with. Very professional but at the same time down to earth and it very easy to have a conversation with them. The pricing was very fair and I plan on using them again for my electrical needs in the future. I highly recommend Faille Electric Inc. Thanks so much to everyone at Faille Electric!,
I recently had four new smoke detectors installed in my new-to-me condo. The existing units were mistakenly going into alarm in the middle of the night. From the time I first contacted Faille Electric via their website, it was two days and the job was complete. Chris worked efficiently, was sociable and even took away all the trash generated. I highly recommend Faille Electric Inc. The detectors are working properly and it is quiet here at night again. Thank you, Chris.
