Fences2U / Fences4U is a fence-only contractor run by owner Bert Breuel out of 19 Mendon Street in Worcester, installing and repairing residential and commercial fencing in vinyl, wood, chain link and aluminum ornamental, along with pool, privacy, picket and security fencing. Every customer who has rated the company gave it five stars — seven ratings in all, spread between late 2021 and late 2023. The praise is consistent on the same things across those years: the crew works hard and fast, cleans up after itself, comes in on budget and on time, and customers name the owner and his crew rather than a faceless company. Two of those reviews drew a reply from the business. What that record does not give you is anything current. The newest rating is from 2023, and all seven sit on one platform, so there is no recent, independent read on how the company is running today. The Better Business Bureau grades it A+ and publishes no complaints against it, but the same page states plainly that the business is NOT BBB accredited — those are two separate facts, and the grade is not an endorsement. The company's own start date is told three different ways across the places it is listed: the Better Business Bureau records trading from May 2019 with incorporation in August 2021, while its Angi profile says five years of experience and a HomeAdvisor listing says in business since 2021. Worth asking which is right, and how long the crew that would build your fence has been together. No state licence was confirmed for this business here. Massachusetts exempts fencing-only work from Home Improvement Contractor registration, so its absence is not itself a fault — but if your job also involves anything beyond the fence, ask for the registration number and check it on the state register. For a straightforward fence in the Worcester area, the track record is genuinely good; ask for two or three references from the last year before signing.

Bert and his men did a wonderful job with my fence. They were very friendly and personable while working very hard. They cleaned after themselves and finished the job very quickly considering it rained majority of the time. I would gladly recommend Fences2U to everyone looking to do their fence. Thank you!
