Fitzgerald Tile isn't a crew you hire to tile your bathroom — it's where the crew, and you, go to buy the tile. This is a New England tile importer and showroom that has been selecting imported porcelain, ceramic, stone, glass, and metal tile for seventy years, and by its own account it sells to installers, flooring dealers, designers, and homeowners rather than installing anything itself. It runs a flagship warehouse-showroom in North Reading, MA and a second location in Portland, ME, and went 100% employee-owned in July 2024. What people come back for is the room itself. Across 89 Google ratings averaging 4.7, and a 4.6 from 97 reviews on Birdeye, shoppers describe a big, well-organized showroom with tiles laid out to visualize, free samples, and design consultants — several named personally — who patiently walk homeowners through matching floor tile to wall tile for a kitchen or bath. Recent visitors planning renovations single out staff who helped with things like safe, accessible bathroom design. It isn't all glowing. One recent one-star review called the return policy unfair, and a few others describe sales-floor staff who answered questions without much follow-through. If you're a homeowner or contractor sourcing tile for a project, this is a deep, well-regarded showroom to shop — just remember you'll still need a separate installer to set what you buy.

From Cheryl to Ashleigh, to all the guys in the warehouse, Fitzgerald Title is top notch when it comes to customer service. The selection of tile in their North Reading Flagship store is spectacular! They helped us choose a beautiful tile and grout for our new backsplash and we are thrilled with the result. We will be buying more tile from them in the future for sure!

We had a great experience at Fitzgerald tile. Knowledgeable sales representatives , great selection of tiles and fabulous mini-displays showing combinations of different tiles and grout. For our construction project, we are building a bathroom that will be for an individual with mobility and vision issues. We were so fortunate to be greeted by Shawn when we walked into the showroom. Not only did Shawn do a great job helping us choose tiles that we love, he was very knowledgeable about safety considerations in bathroom design. We really appreciated all the information he was able to relay and his assistance in choosing tiles that we love and meet our unique needs.

Snakey return policy. Let's see if one of the largest GC firms in America ever orders from you again.

One of my go-to tile stores for kitchens and bathrooms renovations. Also all the waterproofing and tile setting products.

We worked with Taylor and she was absolutely great. She helped us find exactly what we needed and gave wonderful insight making the overwhelming process of picking our tile, much easier!
