Five Star Pest Control - Plymouth

Yellow jackets buzzing inside a living room wall is the kind of call this Plymouth company gets. A customer writing on Angi in August 2018 said Richard showed up on time, sprayed the nest in the wall, and took down a wasp nest hanging from a tree at no extra charge. Five Star Pest Control says it has served the community since 2007, treating mosquitoes, ticks, ants, termites and rodents for homes and businesses around Plymouth — Duxbury, Marshfield, Kingston, Carver, Bourne, Pembroke, Hanover, Hingham, Norwell and Plympton are among the towns it lists. Its Angi profile describes a second-generation, family-run operation with more than 20 years behind it. The written accounts on Angi are all from 2018, four of them at five stars. One customer that year described an arrangement rather than a single visit: the technician kept them posted on when treatment was due, so they did not have to think about it. Another that spring had a pest survey done. For seasonal, repeating work — mosquito and tick treatment, an ant or rodent problem you would rather have watched than sprayed once — this is a reasonable South Shore call. Ask what a season's schedule covers and what it costs, and confirm the pesticide applicator credentials of whoever will be doing the spraying at your house.
