Repairing damaged carpet and stretching out humps are Flooring Innovations & Carpet Repair’s stated focus. The business says Ron founded a family-owned flooring store in Litchfield in 2007, then made carpet repair and stretching his primary work after moving to Tilton. Its website names Tilton, Laconia, Concord, Belmont, Franklin, Manchester, Nashua and Hudson as service areas. A May 2026 Google reviewer in Amherst says Ron came down from Tilton and made their carpet look new again. Google shows a 5-star average from 23 ratings. HomeAdvisor lists a 5.0 average from 90 ratings, along with free estimates and warranties. Its profile still gives a Litchfield address, whereas the business’s own history describes the move to Tilton. In an April 2025 Google review, a homeowner described wall-to-wall carpet that had developed humps several years after installation. Ron restretched it, repositioning furniture rather than requiring the customer to empty the room. Another Google customer writing that month said he replaced a section damaged by cats. An Angi reviewer in April 2025 described basement carpet stretching at a price they considered fair, plus a torn-carpet repair completed at no extra charge. Customers also described how jobs were arranged. In a September 2022 Google review, a customer said the supplier requested photos, sent a quote, arrived on time and completed the restretching within the promised timeframe. An April 2025 Angi customer said Ron arrived on time and honored his quote. A March 2025 Angi review described a quick quote response and a job scheduled for the following week; the customer also said Ron worked on stairs they had not initially asked about. Installation appears in older customer accounts too. A May 2025 Angi reviewer praised the padding, carpet and installation when their porch was re-carpeted. In a February 2022 Google review, a customer said Flooring Innovations waited through two delays to their window installation and came the day after the windows were installed.
Ron was fantastic, made my carpet look brand new! He came down from Tilton to my home in Amherst NH, was very pleasant and helpful, highly recommend!!
Very professional. Great communicator. His work is exceptional and I would highly recommend him.
We had our porch re-carpeted. Flooring Innovations did a FABULOUS job - the padding was perfect - the carpet was perfect and the installation was perfect. We are so happy with Ron and his company. We will absolutely call them with any other carpeting needs.
Ron did a great job on our carpet repair. Ron also did this on short notice which was a big help for us
We had a problem with our wall to wall carpet in a larger room in our house where the carpet developed a noticeable “hump” in several places a few years after installation. We found Ron and he came out, restretched the carpet and now it looks like it should. Ron is very knowledgeable about carpets and how to correct problems. He’s also very friendly and professional. We thought we would have to remove all the furniture in the room to restretch the carpet but Ron knew how to do it by repositioning furniture. That by itself was a big relief. I can’t recommend Ron enough. If you need any carpet work done don’t look any further, call Ron at Carpet Repair Specialists.
