Fulcrum Floors

Worn hardwood brought homeowners to Fulcrum Floors, and customers writing in 2021 and 2022 described floors they thought looked new again. The company says it installs, sands and finishes wood floors for residential and commercial customers in southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. Its stated New Hampshire service area includes Bedford, Manchester, Litchfield, Merrimack, Nashua, Hudson and Salem; Houzz identifies the business in Litchfield. The work customers described went beyond sanding a single room. In a November 2022 Google review, a homeowner said Aleks and his team refinished existing floors, installed new flooring and upgraded baseboards throughout the home. They worked long days and full weekends, and the customer praised communication and said the prices were among the fairest received. A December 2022 reviewer described a second hire for hardwood flooring and baseboard installation, praising cleanup and punctuality on both projects. Repairing damaged floors came up in an October 2021 account. After removing carpet, Aleks found additional damage, quoted the repairs and matched the repaired sections so well that the customer said they could not tell where the repairs were. Even with the added work, the reviewer said the job finished on schedule. Another customer writing that month described sanding and refinishing worn oak floors, including discolored stairs and heavily traveled areas, before moving into a newly purchased home. Several 2022 accounts described help around difficult timing. One July reviewer said a delayed house closing disrupted plans, but Aleks adjusted his schedule, refinished the whole house including a staircase and kept the customer updated. Another July reviewer described Anna arranging a quote after a different flooring company failed to arrive; Aleks and the team then worked over a weekend to finish the floors before the customers moved in. In October, a customer who was out of the country during refinishing said the work was completed as requested and no mess remained. Choosing finishes also drew specific praise. A December 2022 customer said Aleks brought samples on multiple occasions to help find the right match and kept the home clean. In September that year, Steve said Anna responded promptly to his email, Alek came the next day to quote, and Alek answered his questions and explained the process. A January 2024 reviewer also praised Aleks's knowledge and the finished floors.
