Fox and Ginn Movers

Fox and Ginn Movers works out of Bangor, Maine, and one recent customer had the company pack, move and unpack, with the bill coming in well below the initial estimate. The website says it has relocated families and businesses within the State of Maine for more than 60 years, and it names York, Bangor, Portland, Augusta and Bar Harbor as its service area. A 2025 customer described a move of 17 large metal sculptures from Bogota, Colombia to Lincolnville, Maine, and said owner Michael Jennings communicated regularly through each challenge. A 2024 customer said the crew packed an overseas move into crates over two days and walked them through the security seals. A 2022 customer said the company stored their furniture for 14 months before moving it back to a house in Belfast. A 2025 customer gave three stars, writing that the company does not provide binding estimates and underestimated a small two-bedroom condo move by 2+ hours. A 2025 customer who moved a one-bedroom apartment objected to a fuel surcharge and to paying for drive time from the shop, and said a mover broke a waterproof patio container. A 2022 customer said Michael Jennings raised the price $1,000 over the quote, citing weight, and that a claim for a broken television was denied because Fox and Ginn had not packed it. A 2021 customer reported a lamp in pieces, dirt and tape stains on a sofa and two side chairs, and a ding in a wall and molding.
